Overview

The Act of Looking Back is a personal documentary on memory and family. The film juxtaposes old DV footage with new digital images, focusing on a long-neglected basement. It reveals a deep disconnect between the familial warmth of the past and the present reality. This is not a restoration, but a reflection on memory and the longing for an unreachable past.
