Overview

A wicked fairy wants to kill Beauty, and places a spell on her—if she pricks her finger, she will die. But a kind fair godmother changes the curse, so that Beauty will only sleep. Even though all the pins and needles in the kingdom are destroyed, Beauty accidentally cuts herself on the the spindle of a spinning wheel, and the whole region goes to sleep. Prince Dashing stumbled upon her a hundred years later, and awakens her with a kiss.
