Serafina de Lavillant, the strongest knight of the West, leads an expedition to conquer the barbaric tribes of the East. However, when the mission ends in a crushing defeat, she is captured alive and dragged back to the enemy's stronghold. Preparing herself for the most brutal and humiliating torture imaginable, Serafina is left completely stunned when the barbaric king, Veor, suddenly approaches her and... proposes.
