Overview

The Federal Police is one of Germany's largest security agencies. It reports to the Federal Ministry of the Interior and maintains a presence wherever others travel, commute, or simply want to arrive safely. Whether at Berlin's main train station, Stuttgart Airport, or on the Baltic Sea aboard the patrol vessel BP 82 "Bamberg," the Federal Police's tasks are diverse and demanding. Every day brings new challenges. The officers also protect embassies and national borders. Their daily work requires a sense of responsibility, tact, and teamwork.
